How we collect your personal data
We can collect your personal data through the following methods which will be detailed below: comments, media and cookies.

Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site, the data shown on the comments form is collected along with the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string in order to facilitate spam detection.
In this case an anonymous string can be created from the visitor’s email address (also called a hash) which can be provided to the Gravatar address to see if it is used. For more information, you can visit the Gravatar service privacy policy available at the following link: https://automattic.com/privacy/. Furthermore, once the visitor’s comment has been approved, their profile picture will be visible to the public in the context of their comment.

Media
When images are uploaded to the website by visitors it is advised to avoid uploading images that include embedded location data (e.g. EXIF GPS) as other website visitors may download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Cookie
Cookies are used for the convenience of visitors so that they do not record data again when comments are left. Visitors when leaving a comment can choose to save their name, email address and website in cookies. These cookies will last for one year. There are also other types of cookies such as temporary ones to determine if the browser accepts the cookies that will be set when the login page is visited. The temporary cookie does not contain any personal data and is deleted when the browser is closed. Login cookies last for two days and screen options cookies last for one year. When the “remember me” option is selected, access will persist for two weeks, if the visitor leaves the account the cookies will be removed. When the visitor edits or publishes an article, an additional cookie will be saved in his browser. This type of cookie does not include personal data, but simply indicates the ID of the article just modified and expires after one day.

In addition, website administrators can also see and edit this information.

These rights do not apply to any personal data that the website is required to keep for administrative, legal or security purposes.
